A lost treasure

The KCFA are devoted to the preservation of Sir George Bullough’s “hunting lodge” commissioned in his fathers honour, John Bullough, in 1897 on the Scottish Island of Rum.

Since 1939 the castle has increasingly been in need of care and restoration as visits and use diminished. In 1996 the Kinloch Castle Friends Association was created to find new ways to raise awareness of the future potential loss of this beautiful building and its historical heritage, as well as its archive and collection of art and ephemera.

Currently, the KFCA website is down for repairs, however, in the meantime this site is designed to allow current and new members to join us, and enable us to share new information with you about our attempts to save the castle.
